The two companies received the award during the annual Design Day in Oslo, 15 April for their brave, innovative and exclusive packaging design. This award is one of several awards received by the company Coldwater Prawns of Norway recent years.
The jury states that the designers have done a superb job of creating a packaging that communicat the fact that prawns are a quality product that justifies a high price. The design concept is new and unique for this product group. It takes the product into new and more affluent markets, which can be seen in the company's results. In particularly the box signals exclusivity and will go straight into the luxurious shopping centers abroad. Ziplocs and handles on the bag elevates the product, and the logo is well thought through and successful. The color palette on the packaging is beautiful and complete, and the window that displays the contents works well. The jury believes that this is brave and trustworthy in its segment.
