Enviromental Certification for Norwegian Prawn Fishery
The sustainability of the Norwegian prawn fishery is further documented when Norway today receives certification against the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) standards for sustainable fisheries. Thus the Norwegian prawn fishery will be added to the list of Norwegian commercial fisheries that have already achieved MSC certification, thereby consolidating Norway’s position as the fishing nation with the greatest share of environmentally certified fisheries in the world.

Launch of Coldwater Prawns of Norway, Bocuse d´Or 09
Prawns that were previously reserved for refined Japanese palates are now being launched on the European market. Coldwater Prawns of Norway AS is getting an important helping hand from Bocuse d´Or, which starts on 27 January. The Norwegian prawn suppliers are experiencing great interest in the product.

Tore Lamborg has been appointed CFO in Coldwater Prawns of Norway. Tore will take up his position on 1 January 2012.

Coldwater Prawns of Norway AS has entered into an agreement to supply Norwegian MSC-approved prawns to the London Olympic Games 2012.
