KRAV is Sweden's best known environmental label for food, based on ecological considerations and with particularly strict requirements relating to animal welfare, health, social responsibility and environmental impact. There are currently more than 4,000 KRAV farmers, more than 2,000 food enterprises, shops and restaurants, and 6,200 KRAV-certified products.
CPN voted Gazelle Company of the Year in Møre & Romsdal
We are very proud to announce that we have been ranked Gazelle Company of the Year in our region. In the national top ranking that took place in Oslo December 6th, we ended in fourth place.
Enviromental Certification for Norwegian Prawn Fishery
The sustainability of the Norwegian prawn fishery is further documented when Norway today receives certification against the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) standards for sustainable fisheries. Thus the Norwegian prawn fishery will be added to the list of Norwegian commercial fisheries that have already achieved MSC certification, thereby consolidating Norway’s position as the fishing nation with the greatest share of environmentally certified fisheries in the world.
European Seafood Exposition 2013
Coldwater Prawns of Norway were present at the European Seafood Exposition in Brussels 23-25 April 2013.
Friend of Sea certified
Coldwater Prawns of Norway AS is Friend of Sea certified (Certification of Sustainable Seafood from Fisheries and Aquaculture). According to the FAO, a fishery is typically defined in terms of the "people involved, species or type of harvested aquatic species, area of water or seabed, method of fishing, class of boats, purpose of the activities or a combination of the foregoing features".
Launch of Coldwater Prawns of Norway, Bocuse d´Or 09
Prawns that were previously reserved for refined Japanese palates are now being launched on the European market. Coldwater Prawns of Norway AS is getting an important helping hand from Bocuse d´Or, which starts on 27 January. The Norwegian prawn suppliers are experiencing great interest in the product.

Tore Lamborg has been appointed CFO in Coldwater Prawns of Norway. Tore will take up his position on 1 January 2012.

Coldwater Prawns of Norway is now launching its exclusive product in premium packs.
The new packaging is intended for the most discerning market segment worldwide.
The aim is to give food lovers a little taste of one of the finest of all seafood delicacies.
Supplying prawns to the Olympic Games in London 2012
Coldwater Prawns of Norway AS has entered into an agreement to supply Norwegian MSC-approved prawns to the London Olympic Games 2012.
